Transitional Kitchen

The transitional kitchen is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary furniture, finishes, materials and fabric - all which equates to a classic, timeless design. The hugely popular aesthetic is ideal for those of us who revere an enduring look that can fit any style of home.

Mid Century Modern Kitchen

Mid-century modern style is characterized by clean lines, muted tones, a combination of natural and manmade materials, graphic shapes, vibrant colors, and an integration of indoor/outdoor motifs.

This kitchen design incorporates many mid-century features. Custom Italian made lower flat panel wood cabinetry, terrazzo floors, and glass backsplash add the natural elements. The high gloss white lacquer upper cabinetry and quartz countertops address the modern. The Cambria Brittanicca Gold countertops were chosen for their durability and beautiful movement of the multi-hued veins of copper, gold, fog, and translucent greige on a white background.

The pendant lighting, glass backsplash, display cabinet and floating shelves allowed us to incorporate vibrant colors and unique shapes.

Our clients’ were real “foodies”,  so they  diligently researched and chose top of the line Miele appliances. Double ovens and an induction cooktop were must haves. Also included was a Hydrotap by Zip Water which dispenses filtered boiling, chilled, and sparkling water- so convenient when entertaining.

The placement of the counters was strategic.  The location allows our clients to enjoy their meals while gazing out at their pool/garden oasis, and on sunny days even provides their daily dose of vitamin “D”.
